Bei manchen Kommentaren hier denke ich mir es wäre für einige User besser ihr Hab & Gut zu verkaufen und sich eine Höhle irgendwo weit weg in einem Wald zu buddeln.
Da fällt mir allgemein einfach wieder der Spruch ein "Geh mir der Zeit oder du gehst mit der Zeit."
Das kannst du auf so ziemlich alles umlegen. Viel Spaß in Zukunft, der "Spaß" hat noch gar nicht angefangen :ugly:

Das ist ja so als würde man sagen "Windows XP ist so alt, das hat keine Lücken mehr".
Im Gegenteil. Wer heute noch mit XP surft, der braucht sich nicht zu wundern, wenn er binnen weniger Tage den PC voller Schadsoftware hat, die sich einfach durch die Sicherheitslücken Zugang zum System verschafft.

Wer 2020 noch mit Windows 7 unterwegs ist, surft gefährlich.

Und was Software-/Hardwaresupport angeht ist Windows 7 doch schon seit längerem gestorben.
Kein Support für Ryzen. Jetzt auch keine Sicherheitspatches für unsichere Intel-CPUs mehr. (Welche in dem Milieu ja vorherrschen dürften.)
Kein DX12. Kein VR. Viele Spiele benötigen Windows 10. Viele neue Treiber gibt's nur noch für Win 10.
Daraus schließe ich, dass nur noch in der Zeit stecken gebliebene Anwender mit Windows 7 zufrieden sein können.

Wer einigemaßen aktuelle Ansprüche an einen Computer hat, der kommt überhaupt nicht mehr um Windows 10 herum, zumal Windows 10 schon seit Jahren von den ehemaligen Kinderkrankheiten und Designschnitzern befreit ist, die sich ja scheinbar noch hartnäckig in den Köpfen der Win7-User halten.

Windows 10 ist das fortschrittlichste und individuell anpassbarste Windows aller Zeiten.
Außerdem gibt es viele Möglichkeiten eventuelle Bloatware von MS zu entfernen.
Ich nenne da mal beispielsweise das PowerShell-Script "Windows 10 Decrapifier", welches in wenigen Sekunden das ganze Fett, wie Cortana und bescheuerte Toolbars und vermeintliche Datenkraken etc, absägt.

Einfach mal ausprobieren.

Versuche mal das hier, das klappt. Du musst dabei die Methode weiter unten auf der Seite mit der Powershell nutzen.

Die Powershell auf Vollbild stellen oder das Fenster groß genug ziehen, ansonsten hast du bei den langen Namen ... am Ende.

Funktioniert bei mir mit Windows 10 1803 und nach dem Update auf 1809 wurden die Apps nicht wieder mitinstalliert.

3.) PowerShell mit Administratorrechten öffnen
4.) Befehl ausführen: "Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted" und mit "A" bestätigen, dass das auf "alle" angewendet wird

Das Skript ist eine feine Sache, doch fehlt mir dabei die Kontrolle über die Apps bzw. Funktionen, die ich behalten will.

Wenn man die falsche App löscht oder einen bestimmten Registryeintrag setzt, funktioniert das Mikrofon nicht mehr usw.

Dazu verwende ich dann Shutup 10, das hat Schalter für sowas. Wenn was nicht funktioniert, Schalter wieder umstellen und es geht wieder.

So kann man sich das ein bisschen zurechtlegen, wie man es eben braucht.
Ich lasse das Script immer ohne Switches rennen. Hatte damit noch nie Probleme.
Allerdings wende ich es immer sofort nach einer frischen Windows 10 Installation an und habe es noch nicht bei einem schon länger laufenden System getestet.

Tasks und Services würde ich z. B. nicht anrühren.

Schade, daß LTSB dem normalen User vorenthalten wird. Eigentlich ist das nicht nur Schade, es ist eine Schweinerei.

Wobei man den Key für die LTSB/LTSC auch recht einfach bei Ebay bekommt.
Ich hab mich, als ich wegen Ryzen umsteigen musste auch für die LTSC entschieden.

Für Professional gibt es auch etliche Keys zu kaufen.

Hm? Wie auch immer.
Ich hatte glaub ich schon mal ne Enterprise irgendwo aus Spaß installiert.
Gibt doch Tools, falls es mit der Lizenz mal klemmt. Gekauft ist gekauft.

Und sonst nimmt man halt die Professional.
Da kosten die ESUs eben doppelt so viel, also bis 400€.
Ein Schnapper für Nostalgiker.

es ist nunmal fakt, dass win10 fragliche einstellungen bezüglich privatsphäre hat und die gerne mal mit einem update zurückstellt.... alleine sowas hat man bei win7 nie gehört!
es wurde auch bekannt, dass win10 in der beta phase einen keylogger hatte und wer weiß ob der nicht noch immer im hintergrund arbeitet

ich habe schon zu viel negatives über win10 gelesen, darum habe ich mich auch entschieden, dass ich eher linux nutze

android/ios sind natürlich auch so eine sache, aber man kann auch einfach auf sensible daten am handy verzichten... zB onlineshopping, online banking, mails, etc
statt whatsapp vielleicht telegram

Spielst du Account-gebundene Spiele? Logst du dich bei Youtube ein? Dann wären schon mal deine jeweiligen Zugangsdaten interessant. Lokal ist für Firmen ein Nachteil, da jede Installation administriert werden muss, eigene Lizenzen benötigt und einen Weg, Daten mit anderen Systemen auszutauschen. Also mir wurde Windows 7 als sicheres Betriebssystem verkauft. Das kann sogar jeder während der Installation nachlesen, der kein begleitendes Papier mehr hat. Das Microsoft keinen Bedarf mehr für weitere Ausbesserung von Herstellerfehlern sieht, kann also nur zwei Dinge bedeuten.
A) Windows 7 hält das Sicherheitsversprechen ein, man braucht keine Patches mehr!
B) Microsoft hat aufgegeben und möchte Windows 7 gegen Erstattung des Kaufpreises und etwaiger Folgekosten zurücknehmen!
C) Microsoft hat gelogen und lässt die Kunden mit dem Schaden allein!

Bislang plant Microsoft mit Einzelverträgen und speziellen Lizenzschlüsseln. Die Updates werden sich also nicht einfach installieren lassen und sind möglicherweise sogar käufgebunden.
