Workaround for resetting the settings (with 7800X3D installed)
- Uninstall AMD Chipset Driver or uninstall the "System devices\AMD PPM Provisioning File" in the device manager with "Attempt to remove the driver for this device."
- Run the following commands with admin rights (adjust file locations as needed):
takeown.exe /f "%WINDIR%\Provisioning\Packages\AMD.Power.Processor.ppkg"
icacls.exe "%WINDIR%\Provisioning\Packages\AMD.Power.Processor.ppkg" /grant %USERNAME%:*(D)
del "%WINDIR%\Provisioning\Packages\AMD.Power.Processor.ppkg"
Powershell.exe -Command Install-ProvisioningPackage -PackagePath 'c:\AMD\AMD.Power.Processor.ppkg' -QuietInstall
Powershell.exe -Command Uninstall-ProvisioningPackage -PackageId 33aec352-aa8d-4916-b5ae-00005d9f9bfe
- Restart the system and reinstall the AMD Chipset Driver, restart and recheck that cores 8-15 do NOT get parked
