Wenn man bedenkt, wie sie noch vor nicht all zu langer Zeit behaupteten, Intel wäre voll im Zeitplan und die ersten 10nm kommen noch dieses für Desktop oder dass sogar bereits seit Ewigkeiten 10nm-4 Kerner für Mobilsysteme gefertigt würden inklusive G11-iGPU, muss man ja davon ausgehen ^^

Naja, Intel hat sicher noch genug Gleitmittel um die Party am Laufen zu halten.

Slide 1 Issues

- Skylake SP is listed as 4 Channel - Despite being 6 Channels
- Cascade Lake Refresh has LWS (Lewisburg) PCH listed instead of C620 PCH like Skylake and Cascade Lake SP does even though they are the same thing. Changing terminology on the same slide is weird
- Intel's own public Roadmap from August 2018 that is posted on their Investor Relations website does not acknowledge the existence of "Cascade Lake Refresh" but instead Cooper Lake
- Xeon is listed on a "Desktop Client CPU Planning Roadmap" despite not being a desktop platfrom
- The slide number is "152 of 14", that makes zero sense.
- Mehlow Xeon E 8 Core is listed to launch in Q1 2019, it is now Q2 2019 and it still has not launched
- X Series TDPs are wrong, it goes upto 165w, not 150w.
- According to this roadmap Cascade Lake launched in Q1 2019, despite it being launched in April of 2019 which is Q2 2019.
- The Dell logo is half cut off.

Slide 2 Issues

- Kaby Lake G launched on January 7th during CES, not March.
- Coffee Lake H launched on April 2nd - not March
- Amber Lake is 2 core only, not 2/4c
- Icelake is only qualifying for production this quarter as per Intels Q1 EC so it sure as hell will not be launching this quarter
- Intel Executives have stated that Lakefield will come after Icelake, this roadmap puts it before it.
- There are zero signs of Lakefield launching this quarter like the roadmap states, Intel said in Lakefield announcement that products would arrive in H2'19 (Q3 or Q4)
- Dell logo is fully visible

Slide 3 Issues

- Intel's SIPP website does not list any Kaby Lake Refresh or Amber Lake Y SKUs as SIPP eligible
- Yet again Amber Lake Y is only 2 core, not 2 core and 4 core
- Coffee Lake R is also not listed as eligible on Intel's SIPP website
- Rocket Lake U has "+14nm GFX" coming in Q2 2021, Intel will not have 14nm discrete GPU die, so this is odd, another issue is that Slide 2 mentions Rocket Lake U "+10nm GFX" coming in Q3 2020, why would the 10nm version come first?
- No dell logo present unlike the other two slides

General Issues

- The color keying varies widely per slide, almost as if they are from different presentations
- Not all slides have dell logos and not all have full dell logos

Conclusion

My conclusion is this; This presentation is either hilariously old and sloppily put together and thus outdated or its a horrible fake. The amount of inconsistencies across slides, launch dates of products and specifications of processors is simply alarming.

Why I think the leaked Intel Roadmaps could possibly be fake : hardware

- Skylake soll bis 4Q19 als aktuelles Produkt laufen, ein ganzes Jahr länger als Kaby Lake

Alle andern Punkte bis auf die falsch wiedergegebene zeitliche Einordnung von Lakefield ("Q2" in den Folien, gleichauf mit Ice Lake) sind allerdings Kritiken am Aufbau der Folien oder bislang unbekannte Informationen. Es handelt sich offensichtlich nicht um eine sorgfältig ausgearbeteitete Präsentation, sondern um etwas schludrig zusammenkopiertes, das einige bis dato unbekannte Aussagen macht. Aber es widerspricht keinem als gesichert geltenden Fakt und auch nur wenigen der zuletzt notorisch unzuverlässigen Intel-Versprechen.

Fake? Kein Fake? Wie bei jedem Gerücht gibt es keine verifizierte Quelle. Und Produktplaner bei Dell können genauso sauber oder unsauber arbeiten wie Faker, daraus lassen sich keine Rückschlüsse ziehen. Die verwendeten Generationen tauchen jedenfalls auch in anderen Leaks auf und werden hier zeitlich plausibel eingeordnet.

Intel 10nm. Mensch begreif doch endlich, der BER wird NIE fertig.
