I just want to update everyone on my replacement monitor situation. I still have the original monitor with the dead pixel; I told Green-Sum I would ship it back after I received the replacement to verify zero dead pixels. I received my replacement perfect pixel monitor on Wednesday. Unfortunately, there is a clump of dead pixels in the left-middle of the screen, a dead pixel to the right of it, and another dead pixel to the right of it.
Again, I emailed Green-Sum (yesterday) and politely expressed my dissatisfaction and frustration about the the situation. Especially, since I was told to leave a note for the manufacture to check prior to shipping. I received an email back from Green-Sum which he expressed his deepest apologies. He told me it is highly unlikely for him to have two perfect pixel monitors to end up with dead pixels, one after another. He went on to say that he will be contacting Crossover and the shipping warehouse about this issue. As expected, he asked for me to send him pictures and a video of the replacement monitor with the dead pixels.
I didn't receive an email back today, so I sent a follow up message this afternoon to make sure he received the pictures and video. Around 5:00PM EST my phone rings. I answer the phone and it is Green-sum. He asked if I had a moment to chat. He wanted to call me and express his apologies about this situation and let me know that he is contacting Crossover and the warehouse about this issue. He also went on to say that he will take care of the situation and make sure I get one with zero dead pixels or provide me with a full refund for both monitors.
I was completely shocked I received a call from him apologizing for the issues I had. To me, this exemplifies excellent customer service and speaks volume about him and his company. I have nothing but great things to say about Green-Sum and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking to purchase any Korean monitor. Even though I had a few issues that seem to be out of the norm, Green-Sum is doing what he can to make sure I am satisfied as a customer. He truly stands by his products and when he advertises Perfect Pixel (unless otherwise noted), he means it. He has told multiples times there should be zero dead pixels.
So, right now, I have two 404Ks (lol) and I am waiting for him to get back with me on Monday. He informed me he will be calling me again once he finds out what is going on to make sure my situation is corrected.
Again, any one looking to purchase this monitor or any other Korean monitor, take my word and go through Green-Sum. The customer service he provides is EXCELLENT!
