Und oder ich muss die befehle eintragen. Aber ich will da das eine oder andere game zocken.

Gerade Transport Fever 2 startet aber duch mods dauert es der bricht immer wieder mit "Fehler auf Datenträger" (oder so ähnlich) das fertig stellen der letzten mod ab. Sind ja nur 98-99% und das nervt halt tierisch.

Ich habe endlich einen FIDO2 Stick. Damit hat diese Passworteintipperei endlich ein Ende! Habe dazu folgenden Guide genutzt. Der beschreibt das sogar für viele verschiedene Distros. Eigentlich ziemlich easy.

Schon klar, is ne komischer 502 Fehler oder so dass er da nichts kann. ich habe es halt nie wirklich gesichert oder notiert k.a

Beim Installation vorgab sagt er auch dass es ne Windows HDD ist und deswegen nicht funktioniert.

Ich habe es genutzt. Weiß gar nicht mehr, wie lange das her ist. Es ist keine aktuelle Empfehlung (daher das früher CD in Klammern), habe es aber nicht extra gekennzeichnet, da hast Du recht. Knoppix ist alt, glaube ich!
Aber mit Knoppix fing meine Linux Zeit halt an, abgesehen vom Programmieren statischer Routen auf Cisco's Router-Betriebssystem 'IOS' mit Hilfe einer CLI. Ist glaube irgendwas UNIX/LINUX'isches (?). Gott ist das lange her.
Und sorry: das mit dem Gendern liest sich für mich sooo umständlich. Da mache ich manchmal zu. Meine Formulierungen waren zum Teil nicht angebracht.

1.) Aktuellste Arch Iso Downloaden und "verifizieren" danach auf den Ventoy Usb Stik kopieren und Booten.

2.) Am Promt folgenden Befehl eingeben für das Deutsche Tastaturlayout: loadkeys de-latin1 und Bestätigen.

3.) Dann folgender Befehl: pacman -Sy archinstall und Bestätigen und dann auf "Y" und auch Bestätigen.

4.) Nun zum Schluss einfach den Befehl: archinstall

paar Sekunden warten und man hat das Konfigurationsmenü vor sich das wirklich selbsterklärend ist, mit den Pfeiltasten und der Spacetaste kann man u.a einzelne Punkte Auswählen und der Bestätigen Taste.

5.) Und "Multilib" würde ich auswählen.
Wenn man schlussendlich alles im Menü eingestellt hat, geht man Unten auf Installieren.

(Kann man später immer noch alles ändern in Arch, ,auf dem Desktop angekommen wegen Multilib etc., mit dem Terminal Befehl:

sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf

Dort einfach entsprechende Rautesymbole entfernen, die man entfernen möchte bei:

z. B core-testing, extra-testing, multilib-testing

Mit STRG + O Speichert man ab - danach einmal Bestätigentaste, und mit STRG + X wieder das Fenster verlassen, danach im Terminal ein: sudo pacman -Syu)

6.) Auf dem neuen Desktop angekommen nach dem ersten Booten im Terminal ein:

sudo pacman -S ufw und danach ein: sudo ufw enable, dann ein reboot eingeben.

(ufw = Uncomplicated Firewall)
