c2.cab Datei ist kaputt!!! Ankotz-Orgie

Hallo, ich brauch dringend Hilfe, ich raste hier gleich aus!

Hab gestern ne neue Festplatte von der Postfrau bekommen!
Windoof drauf, Treiber drauf alles wunderbar.
Zu guter letzt, Battlfield Bad Company 2, und da ging's los mit dem Mist.
DVD rein, installieren, cabinet c2.cab ist beschädigt, geht net!
Goggle mein Freund und Helfer, sagt, auf ne Festplatte drauf kopieren, sollte gehen, ging nicht. Nun bin ich zu 4 Rechnern in der Bude gerannt, hab's über's Netzwerk versucht, USB-Stick, eSATA-Stick, geht nix! So, dann gibt es ja Quellen, wo diese C2.cab Datei zu downloaden ist, muß man sich aber Anmelden, fällt flach. Dann benutze ich halt den EA Downloadmanager und ladt mir das Spiel von dort! Jetzt hat es sich ganze 25 Stunden durch meine fette Leitung geqäult, und was ist passiert!? Version 1.0.0.0, Updater sagt "Spiel ist beschädigt", kann ich nicht zocken, jippie!
Was zum Geier soll ich machen, das ich zocken kann!!!!
Ich hab noch 3 Tage Urlaub und nix geht!

Versuch dieses Prozedere mal aus,sollte funktionieren.




Here is my solution for XP SP3

I bought the disc today and installed it at work fine. Then I came home and am trying to install it, but getting the same cab errors mentioned here (with c20.cab). Next I tried copying the contends of the CD to the hard drive and running the installation from there. I still get the cab errors (c2.cab, then c3.cab etc) but it seems that if I re-copy the file it complains about and then click "Retry", it is able to continue (for a while at least). So finally, working that way, I was able to get through the install. For you folks who downloaded it, maybe if you make a separate copy of the cabs and then overwrite the originals whenever the installation complains?

Die oben genannte Vorgehensweise hat bei mir auch net funktioniert.Dachte es funzt,deshalb hab ichs gepostet.

Hab schon vier Laufwerke getestet ( Samsung,LG,ASUS und das externe xBox HD) jedesmal das gleiche.

Rechner auf Standartwerte gesetzt,auch fehlschlag.

Nun hab ich die Treiber der Laufwerke deinstalliert,neu gestartet,Treiber von Windows installieren lassen und es hat dann Gott sei Dank funktioniert.

System : Vista64 SP2,Core Quad 9450 @ 3.6Ghz,8Gig Ram,4870X2
