AGESA ?? CPU Code?

Hallo. ich habe gestern ein neues Bios für mein Board auf der Herstellerseite entdeckt. Folgendes steht als Doku:

Upgrade CPU code to AGESA 2.08.11.

Hab mich anschließend an Foxconn-Support gewendet mit der Frage was es nun bedeutet. Antwort:

AMD Generic Encapsulated Software Architecture (AGESA) is a type
of BIOS process interface,2.08.11 is its version. This mobo can't support Phenom.

Jetzt meine Frage: was steht in diesen Codes? Kann man hinein sehen? Welche CPUs sind dazu gekommen? Ist es ein Standard? Google konnte mir ´leider nicht helfen. Habt Ihr 'ne Ahnung?

was m.E. soviel heisst wie:

AGESA ist eine Bibliothek bestätigter(offizieller?) Prozessorroutinen die Kunden bei der schnellen Adaption der AMD64 Technologie in ihre Produkte helfen soll."

hmm das klingt ja interessant das wurde bei asrock boards sehr häufig geupdatet vor allem als die phenom 1 draussen waren ...
