Vista installation schlägt fehl

hi,
hab mit nem kumpel seinen rechner zusammengebaut, nach der vista (32bit) installation kommt allerdings immer derselbe fehler:

BIOS ROM Checksum Error

Detecting IDE ATAPI Device
Found CDROM, try to boot from it ... Pas


Automatic load AWDFLASH.EXE
!! ERROR -- AWDFLASH.EXE Not found with CDROM
Please Insert the correct CD disk and press Enter key to retry

kommt jedesmal nach der vista installation bevor er booten sollte

hier mal die PC -daten:

ASUS P5N-D
Q6600
8800GT
Corsair DDR2800 2 gig

AWD-Flash ist eigentlich ein BIOS-Flash-Tool, wird vlt. automatisch gestartet, ähnlich des ASUS Easy-Flash.

Versuche mal das BIOS zu aktualisieren und/oder rufe beim Post mal das boot-menu auf um die Start-HDD manuell zu wählen.
(Boot-Menu bei Asus ist glaub ich ESC)
