Probleme mit neuer Firewall

Nach Installation der Ashampoo-Firewall (meine alte ist abgelaufen und ich hab ne neue kostenlose gesucht) funktioniert mein SMP-Client nicht mehr. Hier mal das letzte Log

Es handelt sich um Version 5.91beta6 und XP Pro SP2. Ich habe der
smpd.exe
mpiexec.exe
fah.exe
FahCore_a1.exe
volle Zugriffsrechte gegeben. Aber irgendwie steht da immer ein Client-Core communications error. Was muss ich machen, damit es wieder läuft? Kann mal jemand bei sich nachsehen, ob man für den SMP noch mehr freigeben muss?

Erstmal - hast du OC-ed?? oder läuft deine "Kiste" auf default??

Versuch doch (auch) einfach mal den Client zu de-installieren und den neuesten SMP-Client zu installen

Der PC läuft mit Standardtakt. Ich hab jetzt alles deinstalliert, neugestartet, Ordnerreste manuell gelöscht, neu installiert und es ist alles wie vordem.

Ich hab jetzt nochmal getestet. Mit deaktivierter bzw beendeter Firewall geht es auch nicht. Jetzt nach Deinstallation faltet er wieder. Nur so ganz ohne Firewall will ich auch nicht. Habt ihr einen Vorschlag, welche kostenlos oder auch günstige Firewall man einsetzen kann?

Gibt es noch Alternativen zu Zone Alarm? In meinem Bekanntenkreis hält sich die Behauptung, dass Zone Alarm nicht viel taugt.

Als SW-Firewall ist sie ok.
Als alleinige Firewall ist sie nicht genug, das stimmt.

Ich benutze das Programm, weil ich wissen will, wer nach 'draussen' will.
Das erlaube ich oder auch nicht.
