KFA2 RTX 2080, Lüfter übersteuern grundlos

Hallo Leute,

mein Problem mit meiner KFA2 RTX 2080 besteht leider immer noch das sich die Lüfter grundlos übersteuern.
Sobald die Grafikkarte 73° erreichen drehen beide Lüfter komplett durch. Laut CPU-Z über 4500 RPM.
Was komisch ist, denn wenn ich die Lüfter manuell auf 100% stelle erreiche ich "nur" 3300 RPM ca.

Selbst wenn ich eine eigene lüfterkurve erstelle bringt das nichts.

Dabei ist mir auch aufgefallen dass es Temperatur unabhängig ist.
Wenn ich via Afterburner den Power Limit auf ca 54% sinke, passiert das nicht mehr, obwohl ich diese 73° erreiche.

Auch die Grafikkarte neu Flashen brachte kein Erfolg.

Hoffe auf paar Lösungsvorschläge

- Intel Core I7 8700 K
- Asrock Z370 Extreme 4
- Bequiet 650 Watt Straight Power 11
- 32 GB G.Skill Riplaws
- KFA 2 RTX 2080

ne wie kommst du darauf, das problem besteht schon werkseitig bevor ich i.was gemacht habe.

Hörst du die Lüfter auch hochdrehen, oder wird dir das in dem Monitoring-Programm das du benutzt angezeigt ohne das der Geräuschpegel sich verändert?

ich sag mal so. im idle, bzw die ersten paar minuten ingame, hör ich sogar die betriebsgeräusche meines monitors.

ab dann ist die grafikkarte lauter als mein staubsauger.

Hi there. I will write in English as my German is low. Your card is ok, and the problem you have is not related to bios. 2080 and 2080ti have something called "fail-safe" which will trigger the fans spins to 4000+ rpm. Basically, any monitoring software will show you a general temp of the dye(GPU) but not specific zones. So you have a Thermal spike cause like 99.9% because of the thermal compound which is dried(TIM). I had the exact problem on a 2080ti gigabyte. Mine also had a manufacturer defect which made the cooler not touching correctly all the GPU dye and all the vrams. Anyway, i managed to tackle the problem, and after I used thermal compound on the GPU and also on vrams , the card now has a max temp of 74C in AC VALHALLA ultra mode 3440x1440(1990 MHz). You can apply a new thermal compound, but you need to check with the manufacturer if somehow will not void the warranty(Gigabyte will void your warranty, I wonder why after I discovered the defect). For the reference, i will attach the pictures to show what is triggering the 4000+ rpm on fans
