>> AMD tells me that its next flagship Radeon R9 graphics card is up and running at GDC, powering an Oculus-based Epic "Showdown" demo.<<

>> After 4 MONTHS you offer a - "FREESYNC DRIVER BETA" - In fact it is nothing more. Is this the best possible gaming experience AMD can offer after 4 months? << Don't take it out on AMDMatt guys, he's just a representative, not responsible for the whole of the driver team.... what a mess @ AMD!
>> AMD Mantle broken with VRAM leak long time ago. And nobody of your two dont care about it. / AC unity stuttering / Cod:Aw crossfire it stutter like crazy / Farcry 4 needs lots of tweaks to work smoothly without issue / No Freesync support to 7xxx series...even some R7 & R9 Series... Still Bad performance on Far cry 4... No Dying light Crossfire... Thats Sucks / 4 months and we get a non updated driver release (D3D...), no VSR, no framerate limiter. Unfortunately, 2015 has changed nothing about AMD's poor driver release quality <<
AMD Matt: > Mantle performance optimisations are in the hands of the developer, that's what a low level API does is give full control to the developer. This obviously has advantages and disadvantages as you can imagine. Dice are still releasing updates and patches for Battlefield 4, so i would inform them of the issue so it can be addressed in a future patch.
Mantle stutter issue still not fixed! I thought you hired a CPU-GPU specialist lately? CPU spikes in BF4 still occur the same way as before the patch with Mantle enabled. Every 2 -5 minutes i go down from 150FPS to 5-20 FPS... UNPLAYABLE!
to AMDMatt: < What happened with the "framerate limiter" feature present on Catalyst 15.2? I downloaded this new 15.3 beta 1 and it got removed. ??? Project Cars isn't yet realesed and have already a cf profile, you have to be kidding me / have Assetto Corsa is out, no profile and when i will have one for that game? Why is there no Metal Gear Solid ground zero Cf profile ?

My first rig with crossfire and I´m very disappointment with AMD.
No profiles for Dying Light, metal gear (only afr friendly works), etc.
Far Cry 4 runs very BAD with crossfire (frame drops and stuttering )
AC Unity runs BAD with crossfire, stuttering (runs much better with only 1 gpu)
Ryse runs very very BAD (frame drops and stuttering )
No VSR for R9 270/280 series.

Good job driver team
AMD is the one with the image problem, they have an image of terrible driver support. Stuff like this release schedule just serves to cement that image. The sooner they learn to be more honest and have open communication, the sooner they can get more market share, until then it doesn't matter what hardware they put out, the stigma alone is enough to keep customers going to the "better" alternative. (And yes that was a run on sentence like a mug) I normally am on your side AMD, but this newest release is absolute garbage.
