Ernsthaft: Das ist toaler Blödsinn. Die ersten Versionen (90nm) der Next Gen Konsolen haben auch über 200 Watt verbraucht.
In der PS3 steckt ein Chip auf dem Niveau einer 7950GT/7800GTX 256 (Verbrauch etwa 75 Watt). Einzig das Speicherinterface wurde auf 128Bit gekürzt, aber dafür hat der Ram einen extrem hohen Datendurchsatz. In der Xbox 360 steckt ein Hybrid aus X1900 und HD2900 Technik, der eine noch höhere Performance als der PS3 Chip erreicht.
Beide Chips erreichen trotzdem nicht die Performance einer uralten 8800GT mit Betriebssystem, Treiber etc., wie man sehr schön an hunderten von Konsolenports sehen kann.
Wie aktuelle PC Spiele aussehen können zeigt
Star Wars 1313. Das ist auf dem selben Niveau, wie die hier gezeigte Tech Demo. Es wird nächstes Jahr für den PC erscheinen und wohl auch für die nächste Konsolengeneration.
