Is my Seasonic Tx-850W going bad? Shutdown once

Hi dear users. I have had an problem today.

My pc:
Seasonic PRIME TX-850 80Plus Titanium 850W
10850K stock 4800mhz stock Kraken X73 good temps
2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3000mhz XMP
Seasonic Tx-850 Ultra Titanium
Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming ( 2x8 pin , 2 separate cables )
Aorus Z490 Pro Gaming
1 TB SSD


I bought pc in march 2021. No single issue,no reboots,no shutdowns. I played all games for many hours,no issues. Today…i launched Metro Exodus and after cinematic when is press E button part pc just shutdown. I rebooted again and its fine again.

Happened when gpu load change from 0% to 99%.

My question is. It was psu issue or maybe other hardware?

I remember that when pc goes off ,pc case lights flickered once and monitor flickered. That not happens when i shutting down manually.

i am running now game and no shutdowns. Happened today once. Also i have pc until march 2021 and thats like today never happened.

Is psu going just bad,rma or what you recommend for me. Thank you

Die schutzschaltungen lösen zu früh aus, einige Netzteile haben da Probleme mit. Du kannst es tauschen lassen aber das Problem bleibt. Habe das beim Kumpel auch durch, der hat jetzt ein Corsair hx1200 und keine Probleme mehr. Es liegt übrigens nicht am Gesamtverbrauch, eher an den Peaks.

Es tut mir leid, das Thema neu zu erstellen, aber ich möchte sicher sein, ob Sie das Netzteil behalten oder ein anderes kaufen möchten. Das Problem trat jedoch nur einmal auf. Wenn ich dieses Spiel 100 Mal starte, wird der Computer nie heruntergefahren.

Nach dem Herunterfahren schalte ich den Knopf auf der Rückseite des Netzteils nicht ein / aus. Aber das ist egal?

Ich habe gehört, dass ich das tun sollte, wenn das OCP wäre. Danke schön. Entschuldigung für meine schlechte Sprache.

The switch on the psu backside doesn't matter. Your problem occur due the power peaks from your pc parts. Especially your CPU and your GPU have very high load currents.
You can prevent the emergency shutdown by undervolting the graphics card.

Need replacement for Seasonic TX-850 with better OCP for 3090

Bottom line: this PSU (Seasonic Prime TX-850 Titanium) just can handle the 3090. OCP keeps tripping randomly regardless of load and I have to reset the PSU at the switch to get my system back. This is a known issue with certain PSUs and the 3090. Should I go to a Seasonic Prime 1000 watt...

Ok but someone here with the same PSU had the shutdown. And he said:"have to reset the PSU at the switch to get my system back. "


But i dont have to reset my PSU ,pc started normally when i pressed power button without resetting psu at the switch.


Ok, aber jemand hier mit dem gleichen Netzteil hatte den Shutdown. Und er sagte: "Muss das Netzteil am Schalter zurücksetzen, um mein System zurückzubekommen."


Ich musste das Netzteil nicht mit dem Schalter auf der Rückseite zurücksetzen.
