Invalid Password HP ProCurve 2524 (J4813A)...Kein Zugriff

Hallöchen.

Habe hier grade einen HP ProCurve 2524 zu liegen.
Leider kenne ich keine IP-Adresse von ihm. Auch kein Passwort.

Ich kann ihn nicht über einen Browser erreichen, wenn ich über cmd eine ip-adresse an seine mac-adresse vergebe.
auch über putty komme ich nur soweit, dass er einen user und ein password haben will.
Egal was ich eingebe. Egal auf welcher Seite ich mir die Zugangsdaten angeguckt habe...nichts funktioniert.

Habe auch schon Reset und Clear Button gedrückt. (Beide zusammen und nach kurzer Zeit dann noch Clear-Button einige Zeit halten)
auch kein Erfolg. Helft mir bitte.

Answer: To recover from a lost manager password on the ProCurve Switch 2524, merely use a small, pointed device such as a straightened paperclip to depress the small, recessed "Clear" button for at least 10 seconds. The "Clear" button is found on the face of the switch.

This removes only the password protection of the switch. The switch will not reboot, and all other configuration settings will remain intact.
