Fallout 3 stürzt immer ab...

hey leute, ich hab ein riesen problem mit fallout 3.

ich wollte es heute mal wieder installieren und ne runde zocken. hab ich auch gemacht, doch es stürzt immer mit: Fallout 3 funktioniert nicht mehr ab....

ich komme nichtmal bis ins hautpmenü..

spiel ist auf 1.7 und grafiktreiber ist 301.42 windows 7 64 bit

ok, ich habs jetzt so halb.

es läuft nur dann, wenn ich es im fenstermodus spiele. dort ist jedoch die höchste nur Auflösung 1280x1024..

Ich glaube es braucht so eine Games for Windows installation dazu, wurdest du für sowas aufgefordert ?

Übrigens des kompatibilitäts modus testen, Vista sp1 oder so, offiziel ist Fallout 3 nicht für Win 7 geeignet

also mit dem kompilitätsmodus funzt es gar nicht mehr.^^

also es läuft jetzt auf 1280x1024 im fenstermodus top.
wie krieg ich jetzt noch Full HD auflösung hin`? Vollbild muss nich unbedingt sein^^

Für das Bildschirm "Overlay" die "FALLOUT.INI" im oben beschriebenen Ordner öffenen. Darin den Eintrag ändern:

fDefaultFOV=75.0000

Die Werte Stehen für folgendes:
5:4 - 75.000
4:3 - 79.9000
16:9 - 105.3000
15:9 - 99.0000
16:10 - 95.2000

Some dual core and quad core CPU users have said that by inserting a new command iNumHWThreads=2 under the General section of Fallout.ini, and setting it to a value of 1, 2 or 4 (typically 2), this prevents freezing at certain points in the game. In practice this setting should not be required, as it appears to restrict the number of threads used by the game, however you can experiment with different values depending on how many cores of your CPU you want the game to use.

bei mir hats geholfen, hab nen 3570k und beschränk es wie vorgeschlagen auf 2 ....

axo, ka welche ini es atm ist, aber steam hat wohl im gamesordner noch eine eigene fallout.ini die bei jedem start die in den eigenen dokumenten liegende ini überschreibt, ka ich hab alle anpassungen in beiden gemacht .....

das mit dem =2 hab ich schon gemacht.
deswegen läuft das spiel jetzt auch.

jetzt kämpfe ich nur mit auflösung und vollbildmodus

FOV ist das sichtfeld, aber wenn du zufrieden bist ist es ok

Hey könnt ihr mir das nochmal erklären wie man das mit dem fDefaultPOV macht, weil ich finde das im falloutprefs.ini nicht :/
Oder besser wie man überhaut Fallout 3 zum laufen bringt ohne dass es jede 5-20 min abstürzt.

Fake Fullscreen Mode Windowed - Alt Tab Fix

FOV:

fDefaultFOV=75.0000 - Shows the default Field of View in degrees for the game, which is 75 degrees. Changing the Field of View using this variable doesn't seem to work properly as it is not applied when the game starts, so instead you will need to use the FOV console command (See Console Commands section) each time you start them game to set a different field of view.

Update: It has been discovered that by inserting the line fDefaultWorldFOV=75.0 at the bottom of the Display section of the Fallout.ini file, and assigning it a value equal to the FOV you want, you can now permanently change the default Field of View in the game. Remember however that if you change the default FOV, you may also need to change the FOV for other screen elements - see the fRenderedTerminalFOV and fPipboy1stPersonFOV commands below. Note also that you can alter the fDefault1stPersonFOV=55.0000 value to alter how much of your body/weapon is shown in front of you (Fallout.ini)
