Grafikkarten abmessung wie wird gemessen

Hi ich möchte mir eine neue graka kaufen vl die SAPPHIRE NITRO R9 390 TRI-X OC VERSION mit dem platz könnte es aber sehr knapp im Gehäuse so 30 -31 cm sind frei je nachdem von wo man misst.

zählt die Angabe der graka von dem gebogenen Metall wo die schrauben rein kommen oder von der Fläche wo dvi Anschlüsse und so sind bis hinten?

wenn die nicht rein passt, welche der anderen r9 390 / 290 wären gut /leise und etwas kürzer?
hab in nem anderen thread gelesen das xfx und gigabyte von gestern ja nicht so gut sein sollen.
