Is my Graphic Card breaking down?

Hey Community i've got a problem that im not able to solve myself,

Since 4 days im having some porblems playing Games. When i start a game (it doesnt matter which game i tested LoL,Overwatch, LegionTD2) some pixels are not working correctly (all over the screen). They appear in a different color and flicker on and off. Its specially bad in Overwatch because there not only the pixels are affectes, the screen then after a random time starts to change to 1 specific color (u can still see everything, its like applying a filter that changes everything to 1 color, brightness & saturation still works fine). When im watching videos, browsing in the internet everything works fine.

Another Problem i noticed is when i made a Screenshot of the ingame Problem and put it into paint. When i put it in and tried to resize it, all sounds & screnns go out for ~1 sec then everything works normal again but the image in paint is black, when i scroll in out and so on it recolors itself but i get the problem again, it seems that if i make the image really small and zoom a lot out the problem is not coming up.

My graphic card is the Gigabyte GF GTX 780 (almost 3 years old), Motherboard: Asus H87M-Pro Mikro ATX retail

I already reinstalled the drivers on the graphics card, and reinstalled windows. I am running out of ideas what do do to get it back to work properly.

I hope u can help me out with this problem and im glad for every answer.
THank you in advance

Pull out the discrete GPU and try with your processors IGP. If it works, you can be sure that your GPU is the problem.

I second the idea of using the IGP and see if everything works there. If it does, you can channel down the cause on the GPU or the GPU driver. You already mentioned that you reinstalled Windows and the driver, making a software problem very unlikely. Did you, however, try out an older driver just to be sure?
This sounds like a VRAM-Problem, as mentioned. A friend of mine once had a similar problem when his VRAM was overheating. By the way: did you check the temperatures on your graphics card? You mentioned it only happens when gaming. The VRAM-temperature would be particularily interesting.
With the things you already tried and the problems your PC has I think the VRAM is broken. I don't know if there is a similar thing like memtest for GPUs, but if it is, you might want to try it. When the tool starts filling up the VRAM, you should start to see problems at some point.
tl;dr: my guess would be that your GPU is propably damaged beyond repair. Yes, it might only be 3 years old, but unfortunately, things like this happen...

Thanks fo all your aswers,

I tried it out with the IGP and the "pixel" probelm was gone, i still had a problem 1 time while the game was loading and when i was moving in a game with some bugs, but that should be due to beeing an IGP in a game with way more graphical power needed. The pixel thing was completly gone and the games were running slowly but working.

Im gonna donwload a programm to check the temperature and gonna update this post then.

So i tested the VRAM and the test is not finishing due to getting the 1sec blackscreen during the test, i guess that means the vram is the problem and the program gets crashed during that second. Well i guess im gonna have to make myself an early christmas present with a new graphic card. Btw it also didnt work with old drivers so i think i did everything possible software wise .

Ty all for responding so fast and helping me out.
