2x Corsair XM3 4GB 1600 CL11 laufen auf 1333

Hi,

und zwar habe ich ein kleines Problem.

Ich hatte bis jetzt 1x Corsair XM3 4GB 1600 CL11 (cmx4gx3m1a1600c11) in meinen System und er lief auch auf 1600MHz(CL11) und nun habe ich mir ein 2ten bestellt selbe Firma selbe Speicher. Nun läuft das ganze aber auf 1333MHz(CL9).

nach Google und noch mehr Google ;) würde ich meinen das ich sie im Bios einstellen muss über das XMP Profile was hier wohl #2 wäre laut dem CPU-Z Report siehe Code unten.
Leider kann ich im BIOS dazu nichts finden außer es Manuell einzustellen und ja da will ich nicht ohne Vorkenntnisse einfach drin rum wurschteln.

Ich würde mich über Hilfe freuen!

Der Fehler ist direkt ersichtlich: AMD Board und Intel XMP Profil... das funktioniert erst bei den ganz neuen Boards (soweit ich wieß). Bei den alten musst du die Werte manuell eintragen.
 
Du hast dir auch 1333er RAM gekauft, wenn du den dazu steckst läuft der komplette RAM auf 1333. XMP Profile funktionieren bei deinem Board nicht, du musst also die Werte manuell einstellen und hoffen dass dein 1333er Speicher die 1600 mit macht was aber in der Regel kein Problem ist.

Also beide Riegel sind vom gleichen Modell, welches laut Corsair 1600MHz mit CL11 mitmacht. Könnte man aber auch am CPU-Z-Report rauslesen, wenn man sich ein wenig Mühe gibt. Und ob die Riegel XMP unterstützen oder nicht, ist relativ Wumpe.

In welchen Slots stecken denn die 2 Riegel? Für eine Dual-Channel-Konfiguration mit 2 Riegeln solltest du beide Riegel entweder in die 2 blauen oder in die 2 schwarzen Slots stecken. Also 1x Blau und 1x Schwarz ist ein No-Go und würde dazu führen, dass die Riegel langsamer takten.

Allerdings könnte Dagnarus recht haben mit der Aussage, dass man evtl. manuell Hand anlegen muss.

Mhm. Und bei den XMP Timing Tables steht beides mal:

XMP #2 11.0-11-11-30-41-2T @ 800 MHz (1.500 Volts)

Die Angaben für "Max Bandwith" kommen aus der SPD-Tabelle. Und sind komplett irrelevant, wenn der RAM für 1600MHz spezifiziert ist. Wie oben schon erwähnt muss man dann halt Manuell im BIOS umstellen.

Bleibt an dieser Stelle eigentlich noch die Frage über, warum Corsair bei 2 Speicherriegeln des selben Modells die SPD anders befüllt...


@Medivha: Sind die Riegel richtig gesteckt (wie vorhin erwähnt), dann geh ins BIOS, wechsel ins Menü "Ai Tweaker", stell die DRAM Frequency auf den passenden Wert. Speichern und raus aus dem BIOS. Mit ein wenig Glück wars das schon. Falls nicht, gibt's auf deinem Mainboard einen eigenen Knopf "MemOK" (müsste direkt oberhalb des 24pin-Anschluss fürs Netzteil liegen). Den einfach drücken wenn der Rechner aus ist, dann setzt das Mainboard die Einstellungen für den RAM zurück. Und dann am besten nochmal melden, dann musst du unter Umständen auch die Timings im BIOS anpassen (im "Ai Tweaker" unter "DRAM Timing Configuration").
